When Things Fall Apart

What do you do when God has called you to homeschool but everything around you seems to be falling apart at the seams? In this heartfelt and intimate session, Joyelle recounts her story of God's enduring faithfulness while homeschooling her two children through challenging seasons of brokenness, grief, and loss. She beautifully illustrates how God's promises, blessings, and steadfast support unfolded as she obediently continued her homeschool journey amid adversity, suffering, and trials.

The Heart of the Homeschool

It’s in the difficult moments, in the moments when nothing seems to be going right—when our children have meltdowns, when siblings fight, or when we’re exhausted and feel alone—that the Holy Spirit is inviting us to pause, lay down our agendas, lean our hearts toward His and hear what’s it’s saying. In this session, Joyelle invites us to examine the motives behind our homeschooling efforts and discover what really matters: the heart of the Father, which is to know Him and be conformed to the image of His Son.

One Thing

When embarking on our homeschooling journey, we can get downright terrified and overwhelmed. It's this avalanche of choices—finding the perfect curriculum, setting up the ultimate homeschool space, nailing the ideal teaching method—all to create this 'perfect' homeschool. But here's the thing lurking beneath it all: this fear that we might fail our kids and fail God. We become hyperfocused on getting everything just right, and before we know it, we're tiptoeing towards burnout, comparison, and feeling defeated. Sound like anyone we know in scripture? Yes, our beloved Martha of Bethany! In this session, we’ll discover Jesus' compassionate response to our weariness and heavy burdens as He lovingly redirects us to the “one thing” that’s truly needed.

In Spirit and In Truth

In this session, we’ll learn about the power of seeking God’s face in the rawness of our brokenness as we discover what true worship is. We’ll close out in a Holy Spirit-led time of intercessory and prophetic prayer as we cry out to God on behalf of our families, seeking Him for healing of the heart, body, and soul; restoration for everything that’s been lost or broken; and direction for our homeschools, our children, and families. We will be renewed, refreshed, and strengthened in our inner beings and equipped to live out our calling and lead lives that please the Father.
